Lower Blepharoplasty
We did a procedure for 65-70-year-old female who presented to our office with concerns regarding prominent tear troughs and dermatochalasis of her bilateral lower eyelids. She felt that the puffiness of her lower eyelids had become much larger over the last several years. Despite several inteventions, including creams and medications, she had not noticed any big change. She also had a history of an upper blepharoplasty approximately a year ago.
To help her achieve her goals, a lower blepharoplasty with skin resection, fat redraping, and a lateral canthopexy was performed.
This patient is very pleased with her results.
Upper Blepharoplasty
This is a 50-55-year-old female who presented to our office for evaluation of dermatochalasis (excess upper eyelid skin). It had been present for several years and was progressively getting worse. She did not have any field of vision changes due to her excess upper eyelid skin.
Upper eyelid rejuvenation with blepharoplasty was performed. During this procedure, excess skin and medial fat pads were resected. The central fat pads were not resected to avoid hollowing of the area.
This patient is 7 weeks post-op and is incredibly happy with her results. Her incisions are healing very well.
